The Oklahoma City Velo Women's Squad is currently seeking sponsors for the exciting sport of amateur bicycle racing in the Oklahoma City area. The OKC Velo Women's Squad was founded in 2004 as a service of the twenty year old OKC Velo Club, an IRS 501(c)3 organization. This year eight women have ridden with the team, and we are continually recruiting new riders. Donations made before November 30th will guarantee prime location on the new jersey. Our Mission
To promote road cycling for women, which includes riding for fitness, groups rides and racing. We hope to increase the amount of women involved in cycling and ultimately the talent pool of women involved in racing, while having a bit of fun along the way. The OKC Velo Women's Cycling Team is committed to a group of female racers, but membership includes female cyclists interested in competing in their first race, century, or even group ride.
